Project Manager
Are you an organised, creative problem-solver with a passion for live events and AV production? MSP Global is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on delivering high-impact events from concept to completion.
As a Project Manager at MSP, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of AV projects and live event productions — from initial planning through to final installation, testing, and handover. You’ll oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, maintaining timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage. This role requires a creative approach, strong organisational skills, and solid technical knowledge to ensure seamless, high-quality execution across a range of dynamic and fast-paced projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Management
- Strong working knowledge of AV equipment and live event production services
- A flair for design and staging concepts, with a clear understanding of what works visually and technically
- Providing clients with expert advice on technical solutions, staging setups, and creative design options
- Coordinating pre-production planning, including schematic drawings, CAD layouts, and technical documentation
- Creating client-facing presentations, proposals, and costed quotations, ensuring alignment with project budgets
- Managing the sourcing, preparation, and booking of equipment for each project
Event Execution & Teamwork - Ensure all events and productions are delivered professionally, efficiently, and within budget
- Source and manage third-party suppliers
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and suppliers on-site and throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and coordinate project teams, providing clear direction and support
- Attend and lead weekly production management meetings to ensure alignment across all departments
- Oversee quality assurance to ensure all deliverables meet MSP’s high standards
- Coordinate the sourcing, preparation, and booking of equipment for each event
- Compile and manage all project documentation, including Health & Safety paperwork, CAD drawings, production schedules, warehouse prep sheets, client confirmations, and payments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end project delivery
- Contribute to business development by identifying new service opportunities and potential clients
- Support the creation and development of innovative staging and set design concepts
Logistics & Equipment Care - Ensure the warehouse team has up-to-date prep sheets and that final checks are completed prior to equipment load-out
- Review project activities to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards, archiving relevant data as required
Health & Safety - Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures on-site and during transport
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Essential experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on corporate events
- Proven experience in the live events, technical or production industry
- Highly experienced working with production schedules and client briefs
- Creative mindset with an eye for set design
- Connections to key suppliers
- Strong knowledge of a broad spectrum of technical equipment
- Technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Sound understanding of IT systems and networking
- Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships

Working hours
Weekend and night-time working are integral parts of the job, and we consistently support our team to ensure they maintain a good work-life balance. A flexible approach to working hours will be required.
Holidays
- 29 days per year (includes one day for birthday)
- After 2 years continuous service rises to 32 days
- After 5 years continuous service 34 days
