We were delighted to welcome UK Sales Manager Rich Soper to MSP HQ following a further NEXO investment to expand our audio cababilities, especially as it coincided with a large delivery of NEXO branded boxes which we were sure contained lots of exciting new audio products. We were pleased to say we were not disappointed with an additional inventory of new equipment that included 8xP12 and 4xP15 P+ series full range point source cabinets together with 4 NEXO 4×2 Amplifiers and 4xL18 subs for powerful extended sub-bass.
Investment elevates audio upgrade
Embracing the resurgence in live events following the pandemic we upgraded our audio systems with an initial purchase of P+ point source cabinets alongside a significant investment in 24xGEOM10 line array units together with 12xMSUB15 matching subs. All boxes are powered by the innovative an exceptionally powerful NXM4x2 and NXM4x4 amplifiers and controllers.
MSP managing director Colin Reader said: “We started looking to upgrade our sound equipment inventory before Covid hit and I’d remembered what a strong product NEXO was from my time living and working in South Africa in the 1990s. We arranged some initial listening tests and a visit to the NEXO campus in France confirmed that we had made the right choice. The power and quality of everything we heard from such compact cabinets was extraordinary and we just knew that we wanted to deliver this world-class audio to all our conference and event clients!”
NEXO extends capabilities
David Clatworthy explains: ” We have had tremendous success with our line array system which has allowed us to significantly upgrade the quality of sound on larger events such as Awards Ceremonies. We wanted to elevate the same high-quality provision to smaller corporate events and the P12 and P15 are perfect for this. With the addition of the new NEXO investment in L18 subs we can deliver impressive levels of full range audio for events of all types. And because the NEXO systems can integrate together seamlessly, we have multiple configuration solutions to address any event requirements. ”
Straight to work
The new equipment didn’t have chance to stay in the warehouse for long with much of the new system being sent out on events straight away. The new additions combined with the GEOM10 line array were put to great use on the University of Liverpool graduation ceremonies held at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral which attracted 32,000 people over 5 days. With capacity audiences for many of the ceremonies it was necessary to create an audience-in-the-round configuration which the NEXO system coped with perfectly, ensuring everyone could hear exactly what was taking place on the stage.
NEXO investment creates northern powerhouse
Rich Soper, UK Sales Manager at NEXO, who was on hand to accept delivery of the new systems, added, “With this latest purchase, the MSP team can now bring high-quality audio to even more events. Their already extensive inventory makes them a true NEXO powerhouse in the North.”
