Teamwork sees MSP win Business of the Year award

MSP has been named ‘Business of the Year’ at the Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards.  

We are delighted to have come out on top in the under 30 employees category for adapting services over the past 18 months, providing innovative spaces for events whilst following Covid safety guidelines.

Director Lisa Richards was quick to credit the MSP team for landing the prestigious award.

“Winning this award has filled me with pride,” said Lisa. “Every member of our team works incredibly hard to ensure that each event we produce meets the high standards that MSP is renowned for.

“Receiving this recognition makes all that hard work worthwhile. I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved, and I can’t wait to see what we do in the future.”

Lisa stressed how everyone on the team plays their own unique and crucial role in the seamless production of events.

“Our engineers are trained as all round AV engineers, able to operate cutting edge vision and sound systems as well as branching out to master virtual event production too,” she said.

“We wouldn’t be where we are today without our fantastic team, and I’m so grateful for having them on board.”

MSP continued to work closely with clients throughout the pandemic to ensure they could still engage with and deliver key messages to stakeholders in virtual and hybrid environments when face-to-face meetings were prohibited through lockdown.   

Innovation

After scooping the Business of the Year award, Lisa said ‘innovation’ perfectly describes MSP’s reaction to the various challenges presented by the pandemic as the business continued to create solutions to shared problems.

“MSP isn’t the type of team to just sit back and do nothing. Driven by a passion for events, we wanted to do everything we could to help local businesses continue to trade throughout lockdown. We are a part of this business community, so supporting those we saw struggling wasn’t a question. We jumped right in.”

It was a full house at the INNSiDE Liverpool Hotel with over 200 delegates who partied the night away.

Lisa added: “A huge thank you to the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce for producing a truly spectacular event that showcased so many wonderful nominees and winners. Liverpool really did come out on top at this event, and we are so proud to be part of the journey.”
